Women in Business Committee meets over breakfast

Olive - The Women in Business Committee of the Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s will meet for breakfast on Friday, Jan. 12 at the Comfort Inn, 1925 Route 57 West just east of Hackettstown. This is the first of four events scheduled for 2007. Marlene J. Pagley-Waldock will deliver the keynote, “FOCUS: Finding Opportunities Creating Unparalleled Success.” She claims the greatest challenge people, particularly women, face in life and business is getting too easily sidetracked from their goals. Focusing your life’s vision helps sort out what’s important from what seems urgent. Pagley-Waldock discusses defining more effective strategies, identifying opportunities and moving closer to the fulfillment you desire. Pagley-Waldock owns 1st Impression Communications, a communication strategies and solutions company with a focus on marketing and presentation skills. A nationally published writer, she authored articles in Family Circle Magazine on Powerful Communication Skills for Women. She is an award winning communicator and 20-year veteran public speaker. As an advocate for women’s empowerment and advancement, she is the founder of a women’s initiative, BECAUSE WE ARE WOMEN - Celebrating Possibilities, an event geared to energize, inspire and support women’s personal growth, life-achievement and internal fulfillment. The breakfast begins with networking at 7:30 a.m. with a keynote speech at 8 a.m. $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
