YMCA Blue Mountain Day Camp offers early bird special
Hardyston The Sussex County YMCA would like to remind parents that registration is already underway for their Blue Mountain Day Camp, and parents who register their children before Dec. 31 can take advantage of an Early Bird Special. Blue Mountain Day Camp gives campers (preschool through 8th grade) the best of both worlds. By utilizing the beautiful facilities at Fairview Lake YMCA, they are able to provide campers with all the fun activities one would expect from a traditional sleepaway camp, but as a day camp, the children don’t have to leave behind the comforts of their own home. Activities include swimming, exciting trips and overnights, horseback riding, archery, sailing, canoeing, tennis, arts and crafts, fishing, street hockey, rock climbing, soccer, basketball, volleyball, family evenings and theme days. Parents who choose Blue Mountain Day Camp can rest assured that their children are in good hands. In a recent survey conducted by the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges, 96 percent of respondents rated their experience at Blue Mountain Day Camp as either good or excellent overall. In addition, Blue Mountain Day Camp is accredited by the American Camping Association and licensed by the state of New Jersey, and all of their staff have undergone comprehensive training and extensive background checks. “Blue Mountain has great programs that keep the kids active and entertained, and the bus makes it convenient for working parents,” said one satisfied parent.
