Ambulance Corps says thanks

To the Editor: This is a thank you to the Residents of Stanhope, Netcong, and the Surrounding Communities, As the year draws to a close, we would like to thank everyone for their support of the Stanhope-Netcong American Legion Ambulance Corps. Throughout the year, you contributed hard-earned money for us to purchase supplies and other equipment to keep our organization running smoothly. As a result, we would like to show our appreciation by saying thanks to those who contributed to our fund drive, bucket drop, and Beef N’ Brew. As some of you already know, we are a volunteer service. We provide emergency first aid and care to the sick and injured 24 hours a day 7 days a week at no cost. Your continued support has allowed us to do this. However, it takes more than money to make the squad run. Since we are a volunteer organization, we are always looking for new members. We also have a Junior Membership Program for those who are 16 years of age and older, and may be interested in a career in allied health, medical, or other field which may require the knowledge of first aid and CPR. If you would like to volunteer as an EMT or driver, or are interested in enrolling into the Junior Membership Program, you can give us a call at (973) 347-2105. Once again, thank you for all of the support you have given us. And, we wish you all a safe and happy new year. Best Wishes, The Members of the Stanhope-Netcong American Legion Ambulance Corps.
