Bravo for Sunday School

To the Editor: BRAVO!! to the children (and teachers) of the Sparta United Methodist Church. If children can logically and rationally recognize a human condition such as homelessness and take a step further, and logically and rationally figure out ways, within in their means, to deal with a human situation, WHY CAN’T ADULTS? To simply have the police move a homeless person or family along to the next town is not a solution or even a remedy. In fact it should be a criminal act against humanity. It solves nothing. Now, if the good people of Byram would realize that if they allow mass transit a start by going through their lovely little “hamlet,” it would be a step in the right direction. Maybe the adults of Byram should attend that Sunday School with the children of Sparta United Methodist. After all, we are all NEIGHBORS.
