Don't call us lazy'
To the Editor: I am prompted to write after being insulted by being called “lazy.” How nice to speak that way of your fellow neighbors in Byram who are supporting a Byram business. How ignorant to suggest that a business, which pays a much larger tax bill, close during possibly their peak time and shut down its most effective way to serve its customers. I am sure if you ask other Byram businesses they will confirm that the construction on Route 206 has had a negative impact on their business. To not support your local businesses or to suggest ways to make it more difficult for those who do support them is just outrageous. Did you notice the article on page 6 reporting that our taxes are going up again? Besides paying a large amount of taxes, how about the countless requests for donations from every school, cause, sports team, club ...the list is endless. So thank you for insulting me as I support Dunkin Donuts every morning so they can pay their taxes and donate their money and products to help support the local organizations that request it.
