Goldberg thanks supporters

To the Editor: I would like to thank the many supporters who believed in my cause strongly enough to vote me into first place in the recent May 9 election. It only proves that money and power do not necessarily equate to votes at the polls. I am pleased to say that I ran a frugal campaign and relied primarily on meeting and greeting as many citizens as I could to listen in to their voices, as well as discuss the various issues that are facing our community. We now face a runoff election on June 13. I plan to continue that same dialogue in the coming weeks and will look forward to your support on June 13. Your vote truly matters. Manny Goldberg Sparta
