Objects to paper and anti-cop letter

To the Editor: Re: A Byram Township ambassador? I can’t believe that your paper would allow “Viewpoints” page to be used as a vehicle for a disgruntled person to demean and smear another individual. I am referring to the letter to the editor regarding police officer Matarazzo as a miserable ambassador for Byram Township. If Wes Supper was offended because he thought Officer Matarazzo was rude he should have made his complaint to the town or at least Officer Materazzo’s superior in an attempt to get an apology and correct Officer Matarazzo’s communication skills. And, allow Officer Matarazzo to give his side. However, I think it goes deeper than that. I think Mr. Supper would like to gloat that he made a fool of Officer Matarazzo by shaming him publicly. How shallow and callous. He owes officer Matarazzo an apology for letting his inferiority complex drive him to make a public spectacle of something that should have been handled more maturely.
