Party switch: just this time

To the Editor: I have switched political parties for the opportunity to vote for two dedicated public servants: Guy Gregg for State Senate and Sue Zellman for the open General Assembly seat in the 24th Legislative district. Both are running in the Republican Primary on June 5. I have known both of them for more than ten years and in all that time, they never failed to serve the needs of the residents of New Jersey. We disagree regarding the fundamental philosophy of our two parties, but when the quality of the individuals are this outstanding, you must put principal above party loyalty.
