RoNetco Supermarkets will conclude 2011 on a very bright note when it comes to fighting hunger in communities served by ShopRite stores. Partners in Caring, a ShopRite initiative for more than a decade, has helped local food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, on-site feeding programs, child care and senior centers and others to provide for an ever-increasing number of families requesting food. This year, RoNetco, operators of ShopRite stores in Sussex, Morris and Warren counties, raised $119,533 towards the fight against hunger. Each $1 donated to NORWESCAP Food Bank provides 14 pounds of food to be distributed in the areas served by ShopRite stores. Consequently, the $119,533 that RoNetco associates raised through the generosity of ShopRite customers will purchase 1,673,462 pounds of food. Now that’s finishing 2011 on a very bright note! It is a true testament to RoNetco’s business philosophy of being Partners in Caring for our Neighbors’ Friends, Homes and Communities. Christine Foster Ronetco Supermarkets, Inc. Ledgewood
