Taking the paper to task

To the Editor: I’m writing this in response to an article from Jan. 11: “A loving donation.” It was wonderful to read about a woman that took the time to do good for others and a salon to help her out. The Locks of Love program helps children suffering from cancer. If gives them a little something to help them fell better in a time of need. These children go through so much, a little thing like hair can make all the difference in the world. The problem I had with the article was the Salon was not Dimensions as printed, but Definitions Salon. I rode all over Stanhope one Saturday. I thought the least I could do was use them for my next haircut for their time and good will. I couldn’t find the salon anywhere in Stanhope. A friend pointed me in the right direction. Definitions is in Byram. They did a wonderful job on my hair and they made me feel like my time there was all about me. I like to read the articles about the businesses in our town that take the time to help others. It would be helpful if your paper would take the time to get all the information straight. People that go out of their way to help others should get the nod they deserve. Next time, please check and recheck your information and make sure it is correct. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Sue Landi
