The Newton Pride Education Foundation will host its Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 24, in Newton.
The race will begin at 8:30 a.m., with same-day registration opening at 7 a.m.
Participants are encouraged to embrace the Halloween theme by wearing costumes, with prizes awarded for the best costumes.
Proceeds from the event will support local schools, innovative educational opportunities and students in the community.
