Bonnie B. Brooks

    Bonnie B. Brooks of Newton, N.J., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon Township after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 72.

    Bonnie was born on Oct. 10, 1948 in Branchville, N.J., to the late Russell E. and Helen M. Brink. After her retirement in 2013, Bonnie enjoyed baking cookies and treats for family and friends, crafting and sitting outside feeding the birds and squirrels. She also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Taya.

    Bonnie is survived by her beloved daughters, Shanyn Mason and husband, Robert Jr., of Wantage, N.J., and Stacye Christiano and husband, Daniel, of Newton; her grandchildren, Rachel and Matthew Mason and Taya Christiano; her siblings, Bruce Brink of Newton, Rhonda Kays and husband, Harry “Bob” of Newton, Darryl Stanton and wife, Barbara of Newton, and Quida Chamberlain of Newton; one nephew, four nieces and many loving great-nieces and great-nephews.

    Due to the circumstances surrounding the current pandemic, burial and funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Wood Funeral Home in Branchville, N.J. Condolences may be offered online at woodfuneralhome.net.
