West Milford High School defeated Newton High School in boys basketball, 53-39, on Saturday at West Milford High School.
Josh Moreno scored 16 points that helped West Milford (1-5) to achieve their first win of the season. Logan Deaver added 12 points.
Nick Kurilko scored a game-high 17 points for Newton (1-6). Hunter Wolfe added 11 points.
